My individualized in-person tutoring can help you more fully master past concepts or to preview upcoming topics. A head start means less stress, more confidence, and a real advantage when classes begin.

You can succeed in seeing the big picture AND understanding the necessary details with clear explanations, key examples, patient instruction, and measurable results.

Over the past five years, I've helped dozens of Sarasota students understand the simple basics behind confusing math concepts, reducing anxiety, and boosting confidence, grades, and appreciation for mathematics.

Based on my long-time experience teaching and advising students and supervising other teachers in college and high school mathematics, I know the best way to individualize explanations for any student. At any level.

 

My rate is $60 an hour for meeting in Sarasota between Fruitville Road and Laurel Road, payable at the end of a session, usually by Zelle. Some students like to schedule regular meeting sessions and others ask for a single session whenever they feel they need it. Either is OK with me.

Online I only offer 40-minute Zoom sessions, also for $60. But I save screen-shot notes from our work and, after we Zoom, I edit and write them up and send them to you as a PDF file immediately at no additional cost. Check out Wyzant.com if you desire more flexible online tutoring options.

 

Whether teaching or tutoring in-person or via Zoom, I explain and show problem solutions as clearly as possible, using colors for emphasis.
