Calculus
Now I tutor AP Calculus and college Calculus, after having taught the Calculus I, II, III sequence for over 30 years, using textbooks from six or seven different authors, in about 20 different editions. And in three time zones and two languages.

During this time I have taught about 40 university classes of Calculus I and 15 each of Calculus II and Calculus III.
I have repeatedly seen the absolute necessity of a strong understanding of Algebra for success in Calculus.

My favorite Calculus textbook.

Below are a few daily quizzes I wrote and used, with solutions, from the last few days of my Calculus I course.

Whether teaching or tutoring face-to-face or via Zoom, I like to explain and show problem solutions as clearly as possible, using colors for emphasis.

The first is a Calculus I review I gave the first day of Calculus II to refresh students on the most important concepts from Calculus I.

Below is a review quiz on important Calculus I differentiation techniques with clear, detailed answers.

Next is a review of important Calculus I integration techniques.

Then some more advanced Calculus I integration techniques.

And still more advanced Calculus I integration techniques.

Then finally, with some more advanced procedures to find Area and Volumen, which are studied at the end of Calculus I or beginning of Calculus II.

This answer sheet below for a 4-page Calculus II test shows some of the topics that course covers.

The solutions written by hand were what students were required to do when they took the test earlier.
The TI89 calculator solutions were added later in class review for verification and enrichment.
